Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
The Strategy Manager, Data, AI & Emerging Technologies will provide critical support for shaping and refining our AI roadmap within News. You’ll conduct research, craft presentations, and analyze ROI for a diverse portfolio of AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business priorities.
- Market Research & Analysis
- Investigate emerging AI and emerging technology trends, competitor strategies, and potential partnership opportunities.
- Synthesize findings into clear, concise executive reports, highlighting potential risks and benefits.
- Support the leadership with various evolving topics from the strategy perspective.
- Strategic Planning & Roadmapping
- Collaborate with AI team leadership to develop, maintain, and communicate the AI & emerging technologies roadmap.
- Communication & Reporting
- Build high-impact presentations and dashboards to keep internal stakeholders and executives up to date on project status, KPIs, and milestones.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with product, technical, and editorial teams to gather data on project progress and outcomes.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across business units to scale successful AI initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s in a relevant discipline preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in strategy consulting, business analysis, or related roles with exposure to technology or AI projects.
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for executive-level presentations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly interpret data and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
- Organizational acumen for balancing multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to leverage leading AI Solutions such as OpenAI ChatGPT.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $90,000-$130,000 (bonus eligible)
