Jaan Health's team is growing! We're looking for a talented Strategic Finance & Ops
Associate Intern to join us. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to have a high impact
and work directly with the CFO to perform both monthly financial operations and support
financing transactions, and perform financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
This is a good role to learn how to operate and build a growth company, and will lead to
a deeper understanding of the healthcare industry through work directly with clients.
Full-time opportunity post internship is available

What You'll Be Doing:
● Support financial reporting, investor relations, data analytics, fundraising, and
operational tasks.
● Engage in strategic planning, business development, and market research
● Drive high-priority strategic projects.


Key Responsibilities:
● Create and present financial summaries for clients and stakeholders
● Support Financial Reporting to our new VC partner

● Utilize Excel and data analytics tools to analyze both financial and population
health data
● Use SQL to do deeper research into the raw underlying when necessary
● Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for the startup
● Monitor and report on KPIs, along with insights
● Evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency
● Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams on priority projects
● Research and identify potential growth and partnership opportunities


What Skills You'll Need:
● 2 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or a related field;
healthcare industry experience a plus
● Advanced Excel and basic SQL/Python skills
● Entrepreneurial mindset focused on solving complex challenges
● Experience in startup finance and operations is a strong advantage
● Strong communication skills
● Attention to detail
● Adaptability
● Ability to work in fast-paced environments
