Schedule: 11am-7pm; rotating weekends

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Patient Food Services Manager to lead our dedicated Patient Food Services Team at White Plains Hospital. In this role, you will oversee food service operations for patients, ensuring high-quality meal delivery that aligns with dietary needs and medical guidelines. You will play a pivotal role in patient satisfaction and regulatory compliance while fostering a positive and efficient work environment for your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement patient food service programs that meet medical and nutritional guidelines
- Lead, train, and support the patient food service team to provide excellent service
- Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and modified diets, prioritizing patient preferences within medical guidelines
- Maintain regulatory standards, adhering to federal, state, and accrediting agency requirements
- Oversee patient satisfaction initiatives, ensuring high-quality food service delivery
- Participate in hospital-wide Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs
- Maintain confidentiality, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient rights policies
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in food service or related field (minimum 1 year experience required)
- OR Bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field
- Certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Registered Diet Technician (DTR), or Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred
- Minimum one (1) year of food service management experience, preferably in an acute care setting
- ServSafe® certification desirable
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and diet office systems
