Traveling Piano Teacher
Key Lessons123 is a strong independent business looking for a excellent piano teacher to join our company in the Pittsford area. We are looking for someone who loves teaching both kids and adults, and is enthusiastic about what they do. This is a traveling position where you will be teaching private piano students in their home. Students can range from complete beginners to advanced. We start with children as young as 4 years old so being patient, loving, and creative is a must! This is a self employment position underneath our company.
Currently we are looking to hire someone who can work Monday - Friday after school, with Saturday being optional based on the instructors preference. We would also consider two very part time instructors to break up the week. Teaching hours are form 3PM-8:30PM however if there is a high demand for adults or children that are homeschooled you may be starting at 1PM instead. You must reside within a 25 minute distance of Pittsford to apply for this position.
Responsibilities
- Be willing to travel to students homes to teach private 1 on 1 piano lessons
- Provide individualized instruction to each student based on age and experience
- Must be patient, loving, and enthusiastic when teaching
- Must be able to work after school hours and into the evening
- Able to drive up to 30 minutes away from home location to teach private students
