\nWhat You Will Be Doing\n

    \n
  • Comply with all Six Flags policies and procedures
  • \n

  • Check food to make sure of its quality and correct temperature as stated by NYS Department of Health
  • \n

  • Finish/Garnish food to be served to Guests
  • \n

  • Actively move food from the Kitchen to the Guest Table
  • \n

  • Ensure food meets NYS Health Department as well as Six Flags requirements
  • \n

\nHow You Will Do It\n

    \n
  • Prep food for use during shift
  • \n

  • Clean food preparation areas, utensils and equipment
  • \n

  • Store food in temperature-controlled equipment
  • \n

  • Cook and package batches of food, such as hamburgers and fried chicken, which are prepared to order or kept hot/cold until sold
  • \n

  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas
  • \n

  • Make sure kitchen is hygienic and functional
  • \n

  • Prepare food to meet state Health Department as well as Six Flag requirements
  • \n

  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
  • \n

  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas
  • \n

  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles
  • \n

  • Prepare specialty foods such as pizzas following specific methods that usually require short preparation time
  • \n

  • Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity
  • \n

\nWhat You Will Need\n

    \n
  • Must be 18 or over
  • \n

  • Must be able to stand, or walk for extended periods of time
  • \n

  • For safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
  • \n

  • Previous culinary experience preferred
  • \n

  • Ability to actively communicate with large groups of Guests and other co-workers within the operation
  • \n

  • Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State and facility labor laws and guidelines
  • \n

  • Must be a friendly and outgoing team player
  • \n
