Job Description

Systems Integration Specialist
Location: Orange County, NY
Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000

Company Overview

We’re a fast-growing, tech-enabled business committed to making systems smarter, cleaner, and more efficient. Our success depends on seamless technology integrations, data clarity, and execution at scale. We thrive in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment where accountability and innovation go hand in hand.

If you're someone who owns the work, sees things through, and makes tools talk to each other — this could be your opportunity to lead major impact behind the scenes.

Position Overview

We’re hiring a API Integration Specialist to lead all integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms. You’ll work closely with developers, vendors, and stakeholders to build, troubleshoot, and refine the way our platforms communicate.

You should have a strong grasp of APIs, integration protocols, and data structures, along with solid project coordination and execution skills. If you enjoy solving puzzles, managing your own roadmap, and making systems work better — this role is for you.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You take full ownership from planning to execution
  • You understand both the tech side (APIs, data, code) and business side (billing logic, workflows)
  • You’re comfortable working independently and reporting clearly
  • You’ve supported integrations in SaaS, transactional, or platform environments
  • You’re highly organized and speak both "engineer" and "operations"

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, plan, and manage integrations between internal systems and external platforms
  • Collaborate with developers and vendors to implement API-based data exchanges
  • Document system workflows, billing logic, and platform configurations
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure system reliability
  • Own project timelines, stakeholder communication, and technical documentation
  • Maintain internal IT infrastructure — including employee workstations and local systems
  • Research new tools and manage successful internal rollouts
  • Identify and drive process improvements across systems

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in systems integration, middleware, or technical operations
  • Proficient in integration concepts (REST APIs, JSON, XML, webhooks, auth tokens)
  • Experience with integration tools like Zapier, Boomi, or custom middleware
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to translate between business and tech teams
  • Familiarity with fee-based platforms, billing logic, or transactional systems
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Self-driven, organized, and detail-oriented

Preferred

  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or high-volume transactional environments
  • Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Node.js
  • Understanding of data compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Yiddish-speaking preferred

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years in system integrations or related technical work
  • Strong API + data structure knowledge
  • Ability to manage projects end-to-end
  • Ownership mindset and proactive communication

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and bonus potential
  • Growth opportunity with a rapidly scaling team
  • Dynamic and accountable culture
  • Flexibility and autonomy to own your outcomes
  • Collaborative leadership team that values clarity and delivery

If you thrive on solving complex system challenges and want to work with smart people in a high-accountability environment — we’d love to meet you.
