Kelly® is looking for a Customer Service Representative to work at a top insurance client. You must live in New York and a service area of our client - Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse areas. \nLocation: NEW YORK - work from home
\nPay Rate: $16.25/hour
\nHours: M-F 8am to 5pm
\n
\nSummary:
\nUnder the direction of the Supervisor of Customer Service, the Customer Service Representative resolves customer inquiries via telephone, email, and mail regarding plan benefits, claim payments and denials, and eligibility in accordance with custom-designed benefit plans. This role requires a polite, professional, and courteous demeanor at all times while meeting the statistical goals of the position.
\nEssential Responsibilities:\n

    \n\t
  • Researches and responds to inquiries via telephone, email, and mail from internal and external customers regarding custom-designed benefit plans.\n\t
  • Meets established statistical performance measures, such as call length and daily call volume.\n\t
  • Acts as a liaison between customers, internal departments, vendors, and business associates.\n\t
  • Assists with the training of other team members.\n\t
  • Participates in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of regulations, software systems, policies, and procedures and to develop skills for accurately fulfilling job requirements.\n\t
  • Adheres to all Customer Service policies and procedures.\n

\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n

    \n\t
  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field with a minimum of six months of work experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of two years of experience working in a customer service setting/environment is acceptable.\n\t
  • Successful completion of the Customer Service Training Program.\n\t
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy.\n\t
  • Excellent oral, written, and listening skills.\n\t
  • Capability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.\n\t
  • Ability to respond to all inquiries in a calm, polite, and professional manner.\n\t
  • Proficient PC skills.\n\t
  • Ability to work occasional overtime as required to meet business needs.\n

\nPhysical Requirements:\n\n

    \n\t
  • Must be able to function for long periods sitting at a desk using a keyboard.\n\t
  • Must be able to use a headset to listen to customer conversations.\n
