Position Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Payroll Consultant to guide Workday to Oracle HCM and Payroll, and needs a consultant with strong Oracle system and Global Benefits experience. The role will focus on supporting the implementation, assessing data integrations, and ensuring global benefits and dependent data are correctly managed and transmitted across systems. While the focus is on Oracle, the scope may include other systems as well.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configure Oracle Payroll to manage payroll processes across various countries and regions.
  • Define payroll features, legal entities, and country-specific payroll rules.
  • Set up and support integration with third-party payroll providers, including Global Payroll Interface configuration if required.
  • Assist in ERP financial system implementation, testing, and end-user support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current business processes and design improved future-state workflows.
  • Deliver training, support change management efforts, and ensure successful user adoption.
  • Guide technical accounting and internal controls.
  • Support help desk activities and serve as a functional subject matter expert.
  • Gather requirements, design processes, configure systems, perform testing, create documentation, and offer post-implementation support.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot client issues, providing resolutions and preventive recommendations.


Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements:

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting business processes in an Oracle Cloud environment.
  • Strong background in building, testing, and deploying Oracle Cloud solutions, particularly in global payroll.
  • Experience integrating Oracle Cloud with external payroll vendors.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, internal controls, and technical accounting best practices.
  • Functional expertise to troubleshoot and resolve Oracle Cloud application issues.
  • Timely handling of production support tickets and incident resolution.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders and supervisors.
