Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to join an early-stage, fast-growing startup focused on building mission-critical software for infrastructure operations. This is an opportunity to work on a product that impacts real-world construction projects, collaborate closely with customers and a small elite team, and help shape both the product and engineering culture.
Responsibilities:
-
Build and ship features across a full-stack TypeScript codebase (React, Remix, Node.js, Postgres).
-
Collaborate directly with customers and the product team to scope, design, and validate new features.
-
Influence product direction and contribute to the workflows and culture of a growing engineering team.
-
Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle, from architecture to QA to customer feedback.
-
Work on strategic projects that drive growth and scale of the platform.
Requirements:
-
2–6 years of experience as a software engineer (excluding Solutions Engineering or Consulting roles).
-
Demonstrated experience in product development, preferably full-stack or frontend-focused.
-
Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup, or at a selective, high-talent company.
-
Product-oriented mindset with strong focus on user outcomes.
-
Undergraduate degree from a top university (~top 30) or elite engineering program (~top 10, e.g., Waterloo, Georgia Tech).
-
Initiative beyond day-to-day work (open source, side projects, or personal coding projects).
Preferred/Bonus Skills:
-
Explicit full-stack experience across frontend and backend.
-
Startup experience with ownership of product outcomes.
-
Contributions to open source, hackathons, or personal projects.
-
Familiarity with modern dev tools like Tailwind, Postgres, or Remix.
Not a Fit If:
-
You have short stints ( 2 years) at every job.
-
Your experience is exclusively in Big Tech with no startup background.
-
You are more interested in infrastructure, ML, or AI than product-building.
-
You have never worked on a real product team.
