Placental Analytics, LLC is a small, specialized consulting practice run by a Board-Certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist. This part of our work primarily involves organizing and managing legal and medical case materials in a quiet, home-based office setting. We're seeking a reliable, personable, and detail-oriented assistant who enjoys staying organized and supporting meaningful work—perfect for someone who is retired or semi-retired and wants to stay active professionally. This job is part-time 3-4 hours a day Monday-Friday. This is a small office in a residential home. There is no upward growth. What You’ll Do
You will work closely with the principal to keep both professional and personal matters running smoothly. Key tasks include:
- Managing a well-organized calendar and handling appointment scheduling
- Communicating with attorneys, vendors, and clients in a clear and courteous manner
- Organizing legal and medical case materials
- Assisting with invoicing and tracking payments
- Performing light office management, including ordering supplies and liaising with service providers
- Helping with occasional personal tasks, such as scheduling and bill paying

Skills & Experience We're Looking For
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and/or Square is a plus
- Prior experience in medical or legal settings is helpful, but not required
