Market: New York, Tri-State Area
Are you a sales enthusiast with a passion for the culinary world? Bridor has an exciting opportunity for you! Join our dynamic team as a Sales Market Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving our business growth in the New York Tri-State area.
Your Role:
As a Sales Market Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our mission, working closely with local distributor sales representatives to expand our distribution and secure key accounts in restaurants, colleges, universities, hotels, and more. Your journey with Bridor involves mastering our products, preparing them in kitchens, and presenting them to chefs and buyers. You'll collaborate closely with local brokers and Regional Managers to execute effective sales strategies.
Preferred Experience:
While prior culinary or baking experience is beneficial, your enthusiasm for food and sales is paramount.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Expand distribution by collaborating directly with distributors in your assigned markets.
- Identify and secure key accounts across various segments.
- Develop and maintain a target list for your markets.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction, foster long-term relationships, and drive growth.
- Communicate sales activities, industry trends, competitive insights, and customer engagement to your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Ability to build strong relationships with customer partners at multiple levels.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, culinary, hospitality, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in customer relations, sales, or marketing is advantageous.
- Collaborative personality capable of working across different functions and backgrounds.
- Competitive and driven mindset with high personal standards and goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong business ethics and integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to work in the field, up to 60% of the time, including evenings for food shows, meetings, and presentations with chefs.
Compensation and Benefits Package:
- Competitive salary ranging from $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year.
