Job Summary:
Day Warehouse will receive and transport materials and supplies to designated locations in the warehouse. Sunday thru Thursday 9:30am-6pm, 40 hours a week. Starting pay is $18.85/hour.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
- Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
- Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
- Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids and forklifts).
- When problems arise, resolve issues by consulting the warehouse supervisor
- Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic math, language and reading skills.
- Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.
Education and Experience:
- We are willing to train.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in areas with temperature and humidity differences depending on product location. Dry, Cooler and Freezer.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at a time.
- Must be 18+ to operate equipment.
