Our client is a property management firm. They seek a temp to perm Financial Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Handle financial forecasting and reporting, tracking operational metrics to provide actionable insights
- Analyze financial data and create financial models to support decision-making processes
- Run reports on financial performance and prepare materials for leadership reviews
- Assess past financial results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement
- Liaise with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Review financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts to identify discrepancies
- Manage the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Prepare analysis of financial trends and forecasts, and recommend actions for optimization
Requirements
- 5+ years of financial analyst experience
- Property management background
- Advanced budgeting experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Yardi and Excel (including pivots, lookups, and formulas)
