Communications & Graphic Designer – Print + Digital
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm
Pay Rate: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience
Type: Long-Term Temporary
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in staffing, is representing a well-known media company looking for a talented Communications & Graphic Designer to join their team.
This is a temporary role and has the possibility of being long term. It is a fully in-office position located at the client’s iconic Midtown Manhattan HQ.
This is a unique opportunity for a designer who loves variety — from producing high-quality print materials to creating eye-catching digital content and animated videos. If you enjoy bringing ideas to life across multiple mediums, this role is for you.
The Communications & Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing and producing everything from event signage and menus to large-scale murals, posters, and promotional videos. You’ll work with toolkits and brand assets to create engaging visuals that capture attention, tell a story, and elevate events and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities for the Communications & Graphic Designer

Designing creative materials for print and digital, including but not limited to signage, menus, posters, brochures, invitations, credentials, and swag.

Producing motion graphics and animated videos for promotional campaigns and events.

Preparing print-ready files and ensuring consistent branding across all materials.

Collaborating with internal teams to adapt toolkits into final creative deliverables.

Designing promotional campaigns to advertise tours, events, and programs.

Creating compelling presentations and PowerPoint decks for leadership teams.

Managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills for the Communications & Graphic Designer

2+ years of professional experience in graphic design, print production, and digital content creation.

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Visual Arts, or related field (preferred).

Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat); After Effects and Premiere strongly preferred.

Knowledge of large-format printing and preparing files for production on site.

Strong skills in typography, composition, and layout.

Experience creating animated graphics and short-form videos.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Flexible team player who thrives in a multi-hat, fast-paced environment.

Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination
