CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an IT Project Manager II.

Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $47.92/hour–$80/hour
Work Hours: M–F 8am–5pm
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Description:
The IT Project Manager II will serve as the Resource Manager within the ERP Transformation Project Management Office (PMO), specializing in SAP deployments. This role is responsible for effective allocation, utilization, and development of project resources to ensure successful execution of large-scale SAP implementation and transformation programs. Partnering closely with PMO leadership, program/project managers, technical leads, and business stakeholders, the IT Project Manager II will ensure optimal staffing, manage demand and capacity planning, and foster continuous improvement across project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Resource Planning & Allocation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project resource requirements
- Assign resources based on skill set, availability, and project priority
• Demand & Capacity Management
- Track and forecast demand for specialized SAP roles
- Conduct regular capacity reviews and adjust plans as needed
• Talent Development & Performance Management
- Maintain skills and certifications tracking
- Support performance management for SAP project resources
• Stakeholder Communication & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for resource-related discussions
- Negotiate priorities, resolve conflicts, and manage escalations
• Process Improvement & Governance
- Develop and refine resource management processes, tools, and templates for SAP projects
• Tool & Data Management
- Utilize PPM tools (Planview Enterprise, MS Project, MS-Office 365, PBI) to track assignments, utilization, and forecast trends
- Ensure accuracy in resource planning systems
Requirements:
• Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience
- 3–5+ years in resource management, workforce planning, or IT project management, preferably in SAP deployments or enterprise-scale applications
• Technical Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC) and project lifecycles
- Expertise with resource management or PPM tools and reporting platforms
• Skills
- Strong analytical skills, including forecasting and scenario planning
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Experience with process improvement, change management, and stakeholder engagement
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in SAP, PMP, PMI-RMP, or similar
• Experience in PMO or Center of Excellence supporting global SAP rollouts
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid frameworks in SAP environments
• Understanding of change management and training best practices in technology projects

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $47.92/hour–$80/hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and applicable certifications. A competitive benefits package is also offered.
