We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in New York, New York. In this 3 month contract position, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities:
• Process invoices using DelTek Vision software, ensuring accuracy and timely entry of 50-100 invoices weekly.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks to maintain smooth financial operations.
• Perform data entry with a focus on precision and compliance with company standards.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for basic financial tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Support the preparation of financial reports by providing accurate and timely data.
• Perform additional clerical tasks as needed to assist the accounting department.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or data entry role.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly DelTek Vision and QuickBooks.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel for basic financial tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
