Job Summary:
The IT Support Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and related systems. This role supports employees across the organization by resolving technical issues, ensuring system performance, and maintaining IT inventory and documentation.

Salary Range:
$30 per hour – $40 per hour

Hours:
Monday – Friday; 08:00am – 04:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other business-related devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems efficiently using best practices, internal tools, and external resources.
  • Review, assemble, and stage equipment and products for various jobs
  • Configure and manage port forwarding settings
  • Maintain accurate record of inventory levels and reorder additional materials as necessary
  • Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers on pricing and availability of equipment
  • Facilitate Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) directly with vendors or manufacturers
  • Answer in-bound business-related phone calls

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical certification e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or Cisco
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a computer support or help desk role
  • Advanced understanding of Windows environments, Microsoft Office Suite and basic networking
  • Successfully clear drug screen and background check to meet industry requirements
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Exposure to network infrastructure (LAN/WAN), and security protocols.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office environment. Employees may be subject so some lifting to 25lbs.
