The Affinity Group is seeking a top-notch Business Analyst to support our Non-Commercial/On-Site Foodservice Division. This position could be based out of our Chicago, IL, Buffalo, NY or Charlotte, NC offices. We offer flexibility for occasional work from home.

Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually.

About the Role

The Affinity Group Corporate Business Analyst is responsible for providing analytic support/assistance to the development and/or enhancement of business planning; creating KPI’s, client scorecards, maintaining tracking systems and tools for the Affinity Group team and clients. Additionally, this position will assist with the administration and coordination of sales and other related functions.

What You’ll Do

  • Support National sales team by collecting & conducting information analysis for the markets
  • Analyze and monitor business performance for Clients, Customers, Brands and Products
  • Provide volume data for Customer presentations (business reviews)
  • Manage and analyze volume reports, claims, and non-compliant data to identify sales opportunities with the team
  • Assist in the preparation and update of sales team tools, KPI’s and scorecards
  • Foster a collaborative environment by keeping an efficient cross-functional communications
  • Assist/support marketing activities
  • Create sales and customer presentation

The role might be right for you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in Non-Commercial/On-Site Foodservice Contract Management and/or Group Purchasing Organizations preferred
  • Candidate must have proven analytical skills and computer proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot tables)
  • Power BI and PowerPoint proficiency (this is a must have)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities, provides sales insights and make predictive recommendations.
  • Strategic Problem Solver: You proactively call out problems, while also providing recommendations and solutions with a positive attitude
  • Able to organize and prioritize many different tasks across multiple shareholders. Must be comfortable operating in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software systems
  • A positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
  • Professionally presents themselves to customers.
  • Impeccable honesty, integrity, and reliability (time and attendance).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

What to expect:

  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background screen
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Typical work week: Mon thru Fri (8 A.M. to 5 P.M.) in office
  • We offer flexibility for occasional work from home.
  • No travel, except for on rare occasions for a continuing education or training class
