Our client, an AMLaw 50 firm, is looking to hire a Senior Financial Data Analyst at their offices in New York City. This is a full time, direct hire role paying an annual salary of $115K to $130K plus a performance-based bonus and excellent benefits package. The role requires a Bachelors degree and will allow for remote work one day a week.
Overview:
Senior Financial Data Analyst is a key player in our clients financial data ecosystem, developing, designing and project managing dashboards and reporting that support the firm. The role demands an elevated level of technical expertise specifically in Power BI, financial knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain insightful and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports for various end user groups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and design data model for accurate and efficient reporting.
- Lead analytical projects, manage timelines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality dashboards and reports.
- Maintaining data accuracy and integrity within BI systems.
- Mentor and support junior analysts, sharing expertise in Power BI and data analysis best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex data issues and identify root causes, collaborating with technology teams to resolve performance.
Requirements
- Advanced Power BI developer
- Advanced SSRS developer
- Expertise in SQL and DAX
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specs
