Requirements and Responsibilities
Manages the daily operations of the kitchen, which may include but not limited to: accounting, staff working schedule, inventory control and equipment supplies. Responsible for employees' training. Oversees other departments that contribute to the operations of the kitchen. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license.
Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions coordinated with President of company. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
- Maintain HAACP records for kitchen at FRMC.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen at FRMC.
- Maintaining opening and closing procedures at kitchen at FRMC.
- Balancing cash receipts at all kitchens at FRMC.
- Ordering food and paper supplies for kitchen at FRMC.
- Coordinate repairs of equipment with FRMC.
- Support hiring/firing decisions with President of company and disciplinary action.
