A highly respected, full-service law firm with a powerhouse transactional practice is seeking a Corporate M&A Associate to join its New York City office. If you thrive in a fast-moving deal environment and want to work alongside sharp, business-minded attorneys handling sophisticated middle-market transactions, this role will grab your attention.

We are looking for someone who brings strong judgment, crisp drafting skills, and the ability to run with complex workstreams. You will be advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and a wide range of general corporate matters. This is an in-office position in NYC, offering direct exposure to partners, clients, and high-impact deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support M&A transactions, strategic investments, and general corporate matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate core deal documents with confidence and precision
  • Manage diligence workstreams and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Juggle multiple deals and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues

Requirements

  • 3+ years of corporate M&A experience at a law firm (middle-market experience preferred)
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage core deal documents and transaction workstreams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice in New York and in good standing

Compensation
