The Position

We're seeking a polished, proactive, and people-oriented Client Relations Liaison to serve as the central point of contact for all incoming client communication across the firm. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable with email-based workflows, and eager to learn the structure and flow of legal matters - no legal experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all client inquires acting as the firmwide liaison for communications related to foreclosure, loss mitigation, eviction, and REO matters. Ensure every question is received, documented, and is routed appropriately.
  • Manage a centralized tracking system (e.g., Monday board or equivalent) to log all incoming client communications. Ensure timely responses, identify delays, and follow up until resolution is confirmed.
  • Track response times and flag which departments or individuals are responding slowly and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to make sure everyone is aligned, and clients get clear, consistent answers.
  • Update workflows and escalation paths as teams, roles, or processes change.
  • Ensure high-quality communication by identifying and addressing inconsistencies, gaps in information, delays in response, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all client interactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken.
  • Professional and polished - confident and respectful in emails and conversations.
  • Excellent grammar and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable on the phone and open to live client communication as the role grows.
  • Legal background not required, but interest in legal topics is a plus.
  • Customer service or receptionist experience is helpful especially in fast-paced, client-facing roles.
  • Tech-savvy, especially with email, shared inboxes, and workflow tracking tools like Monday.com or CRMs.
  • Highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball.

Compensation/Benefits

This is an entry level position. Compensation is $18/hour. We also offer a full benefits package, including medical/dental/vision, Flex Spending Account, fitness reimbursement and 401k with match.

Location

Must be based near Garden City, NY and able to work in-office at least 3 days per week (possibly more as needed).
