Job Overview
This is a high-impact role at the center of shaping the future of NFI's operational excellence across our fulfillment network. Reporting directly to the COO, you'll lead strategic implementation initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and manage performance across a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment. You'll work directly with senior leaders to define goals and align cross-functional teams while making decisions that directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Project, Implementation & Change Leadership:
- Manage implementation of new systems in operational departments.
- Oversee large-scale operations projects, including facility moves, equipment installations, and plant start-ups.
- Facilitate the successful adoption of new processes and systems across operational sites.
- Oversee multiple, complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget adherence.
- Implement project tracking tools to measure progress, manage risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Develop and execute project plans with defined milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive operational excellence initiatives such as inventory accuracy measures, quality initiatives and efficiency enhancements across facilities.
Operational Oversight:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for assigned fulfillment centers, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators and strategies to address operational challenges.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, forecast needs, and implement proactive solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated implementation of operational initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with business objectives.
- Use experience in plant operations to address challenges, mentor teams, and implement best practices.
- Conduct process reviews to recommend improvements in production, safety, and versatility.
Lean Training and Implementation:
- Lead workshops and training sessions to instill Lean principles and best practices.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management
- Proven track record of successfully managing operational projects
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs during implementation or testing phases
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration
- Focus in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Industrial Engineering
- Experience with using and implementing supply chain systems like WMS, MES and MRP platforms.
- Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization

Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000 annually
