In this role, you will oversee the financial operations of a dynamic property management and real estate development company. This position requires strong accounting expertise and the ability to interact with clients effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize accounting software systems, such as Yardi and Microsoft products, to streamline workflows.
• Develop and monitor budgets, providing insights to optimize financial performance.
• Conduct audits to ensure the integrity of financial records and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to address financial inquiries and maintain strong relationships.
• Review and interpret lease agreements to align financial practices with contractual obligations.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Train and mentor accounting staff to enhance team performance and knowledge.• Proven experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in real estate or property management.
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Yardi and Microsoft products.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Familiarity with auditing processes and regulatory compliance standards.
• Ability to develop budgets and analyze financial data effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for client-facing responsibilities.
• Understanding of lease agreements and their financial implications is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
