ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Review and assign all incoming pension mail from all sources in our mail tracking system (Maxx Vault) for processing
· Review and data enter direct deposit information, W4-P and forward Beneficiary designation changes to the Welfare Dept.
· Prepare QDRO request for Fund Attorney, log and email Fund Attorney for review
· Send court-certified QDROs to Fund Attorney for final approval
· Send DRAFT Annuity QDRO’s to Prudential as needed
· Review and update Overpayment Log including the mailing of overpayment letters to Participants
· Perform clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, phones and scanning
· Annual Social Security Survey project management
· Annual retirement verification project management
· Order and maintain department supplies
· Withdrawal Liability maintenance
· Support staff in assigned project-based work
· Contact Members as needed
· Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by Management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; certification preferred
· Excellent customer service, oral and written communications skills
· Extremely organized, Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills
· Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; talk and hear, in person and by telephone; use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate computers and other standard office equipment; and reach with hands or arms. The employee occasionally is required to walk and stand.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary Range: $50-$53
The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills, education, and experience. The NYCDCC Benefit Funds offer a generous and competitive benefit package.
