Position Overview
The Healthcare Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the healthcare organization, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role is critical in supporting the financial health of the organization and its ability to deliver quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the financial reporting process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accounting standards, particularly related to Medicare.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in cost management and profitability.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role within the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of Medicare regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in cost reporting and financial analysis in a healthcare setting is a plus.
