We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Insurance Compliance Coordinator to serve as a crucial liaison between our company, insurance agencies, and subcontractors. This role is critical in mitigating risks related to subcontractor insurances and requires exceptional follow-up skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as the primary point of contact between insurance agencies and subcontractors, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained and maintained.

· Implement and maintain a rigorous system for tracking insurance certificate submissions, renewals, and expirations.

· Conduct follow-up with subcontractors to ensure timely submission of required insurance documentation.

· Meticulously review all received documentation for accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies immediately.

· Maintain detailed records and tracking systems to monitor compliance status across multiple projects, ensuring no loose ends are left unaddressed.

· Proactively identify potential insurance-related risks and escalate issues to management as needed.

· Assist in developing and improving internal processes for compliance tracking and reporting.

· Gradually take on increasing responsibilities in the accounting department, with the goal of eventually becoming the lead accounting person.

· Perform various accounting tasks using Sage 300, including data entry, report generation, and financial analysis.

· Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to manage complex tracking systems without overlooking any elements.

· Demonstrated track record of persistent and effective follow-up in previous roles.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball.

· Proactive approach to problem-solving and risk mitigation.

· Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a fast-paced environment with numerous ongoing tasks.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in construction or related industries.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with subcontractors and insurance agencies.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.

· Experience with Sage 300 or similar accounting software preferred.

· Basic understanding of construction industry practices and terminology is preferred.

· Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new responsibilities as the role evolves.
