We are hiring for an A/R Collection Specialist to work in our PFS office in Owego, NY. The A/R Collection Specialist is responsible for providing customer service regarding collection issues, process, and review account adjustments, and resolving invoice discrepancies. You are responsible for reducing the delinquency for assigned accounts. You must communicate effectively with operations management regarding customer accounts in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • An accounting professional with prior A/R Collections experience is a MUST.
  • Duties include cash applications, bank deposits, customer maintenance, uploading invoices to portals, and reconciling collection issues. The collection is the main job description.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently; have professional verbal & written communication skills; be detail-oriented and able to follow instructions; can use ALL Microsoft applications Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • We currently use Microsoft Dynamics SL for accounting, but prior knowledge is not required.
