A leading food concept is seeking an Executive Pastry Sous Chef with strong commissary experience to join its Bronx distribution center. This role is critical to overseeing pastry production and supporting large‐scale operations that serve multiple locations.
The ideal candidate has a refined culinary background, commissary or production kitchen experience, and a passion for excellence, precision, and innovation in pastry production.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar leadership role
- Commissary production experience is a must
- Ability to manage large teams and coordinate across multiple shifts
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5–7 years of professional pastry leadership experience.
- Commissary, large-scale production, or hotel pastry kitchen experience required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and production lines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product excellence.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume culinary operation.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $130,000–$150,000 + discretionary annual bonus
