In House Marketing Manager Traditional + Brand-Side Focused
NYC’s most aggressive and high-profile personal injury firms, is hiring a Marketing Manager who lives and breathes traditional media, gets things done fast, and thrives in an execution-first environment. This is a rare opportunity to work fully brand-side within the legal space. It is important to know that this is nota social media manager role. It’s for someone who can write a creative spot, buy airtime, negotiate with reps, and deliver results. This position is fully in office Monday- Friday.
REQUIREMENTS
· 10 - 15 years of hands-on marketing experience (not just managing strategy decks)
· Deep NYC roots. Either based here or somehow deeply plugged into the culture
· Direct experience in traditional media: radio, TV, out-of-home (OOH), direct mail, print
· Media buying: You’ve negotiated with vendors and bought placements; not just managed an agency that did it for you
· Creative writing chops: You’ve written or overseen the writing of ads (TV, radio, or print)
· Brand-side experience: You’ve worked for real, local brands, and not just on the agency side
· You execute: You’re comfortable working solo and getting your hands dirty across all channels
· Analytical mindset: You track ROI, manage budgets, and report on performance
· Experience with events, sponsorships, and promo items is a plus
· Comfort with lower middle-market environments ($25M–$50M range)
Who This Role Is NOT a Fit For: While we value a wide range of marketing experience, this role requires a specific skill set. Candidates with the following backgrounds will not be a right fit for this opportunity.
· Professionals focused solely on digital marketing (e.g., PPC, SEO, or social media) without experience in traditional media such as OOH, billboards, transit ads, and public signage.
· Candidates whose primary background is in content creation, PR, editorial writing, or influencer management.
· Senior-level executives who primarily direct strategy but are not hands-on with campaign execution.
· Marketers coming from large-scale corporate agency environments where execution is heavily outsourced
· Designers or art directors whose expertise is limited to creative visuals without broader media planning or messaging focus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Spearheading all branding and advertising strategies across traditional and digital channels
· Writing and conceptualizing creative copy for TV, radio, and print
· Executing media buys, overseeing placements, and negotiating with vendors
· Analyzing campaign performance and reporting ROI to leadership
· Managing our clients’ experience and brand presence across the city
· Procuring branded merchandise, planning event presence, and overseeing partnerships
· Collaborating with our in-house and external teams to bring big ideas to life
