A financial services firm is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist for their Manhattan office.
Hourly pay rate is $30-32/hr, commensurate with experience.
Mon-Fri onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the reception area, including receiving calls, routing correspondence, registering passes for visitors, and greeting and settling visitor logistics.
- Schedule meetings and oversee the CEO's calendar.
- Assist with scheduling interviews for the Head of HR.
- Manage conference room scheduling, setup, and breakdown. Ensure all meeting spaces are prepared and presentable for meetings.
- Monitor and stock office supplies and kitchen pantry items.
- Sort and distribute mail and packages.
- Assist the operations team with event planning including happy hours, team building outings, client meetings, and holiday parties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative support role within a professional setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong time management skills, able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
