Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Operations Analyst to join our team in New York. This role plays a vital part in supporting the day-to-day operations of our group, ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of collateral and financing-related processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial services operations, a solid understanding of equity and fixed income products, and a proactive approach to problem solving and communication.
Success in this role will be determined by the ability to manage a fast-paced workload, meet daily deadlines, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and contribute to operational improvements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Familiarity with automation tools such as Alteryx, Power BI is a plus

Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills

Flexible experience level; training and mentoring will be provided
Key Responsibilities:

Process tri-party and bilateral collateral optimization, sourcing, and exposure management
-
Manage equity and fixed income financing books, including recalls, substitutions, restrictions, pledging, and projections
-
Serve as an operational liaison for Client Financing and Firm Financing desks across Trading, Sales, Finance, IT, Settlements, and Client Services

Reconcile positions and balances between and external agents
-
Provide daily financing projections and distribute collateral availability and metrics to relevant desks

Manage and process cash movements between the firm, its clients, and agents

Deliver funding projections to cash management and bank resource management (BRM) teams
-
Maintain accurate records and ensure all operational tasks are completed within strict deadlines
Team Structure:
You will be working within a dynamic, fast-paced team composed of Analysts, Associates, and Directors. Team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and clear communication are key elements to success in this role. The pace and responsiveness required will challenge your multitasking and organizational abilities on a daily basis.
Candidate Requirements:

High level of diplomacy, accuracy, and professionalism in all client and internal interactions

Understanding of trader/sales relationships, trading economics, and the motivation to help expand market share

Strong working knowledge of Fixed Income and Equity products, settlement processes, and current market operations

Willingness to learn new products and contribute innovative ideas to team and process development

Adaptability to changing environments, with strong ownership of tasks and attention to detail

Proven ability to meet inflexible deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration
