Opportunity Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented Office/Investigative Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an office environment and enjoys a variety of investigative and administrative tasks. They will play a key role in supporting our operations, particularly in the areas of background screenings, drug screening administration, and general office and marketing support.

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS
Key Responsibilities:

  • Drug Screening & Background Checks
    • Coordinate and assist in conducting drug screenings for candidates
    • Coordinate and assist with processing background checks and follow up on results with clients
    • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Administrative Support
    • Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage incoming/outgoing mail
    • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
    • Assist with scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars
    • Provide general support to the administrative and HR teams
    • Client interaction
    • Assist with special projects and events
  • Marketing Support
    • Assist with social media content creation and scheduling
    • Help prepare marketing materials and presentations
    • Update website content and company profiles as needed

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • In-office position based in Melville, NY
  • Hours – 10 am- 5 pm – Monday – Friday
  • Friendly, collaborative team environment

Educational/License Qualifications:

  • Preferred but not required - associate or bachelor’s degree (business/marketing, criminal justice related majors).

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) REQUIRED
  • Prior experience in an administrative or office support role REQUIRED
  • Pass a background check (including fingerprinting) and drug test REQUIRED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities (team player)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

SALARY & BENEFITS

Job Classification:

Non-Exempt


Salary:

The Hourly range for this position is $17-$20, commensurate with experience.

This is the lowest to highest rate which we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
