A premier luxury hospitality group is seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to join its culinary leadership team in a high-profile, design-forward restaurant setting. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for elevated cuisine, strong operational discipline, and a desire to lead in a fast-paced, guest-centered environment.Working closely with the Executive Chef, you will help oversee all kitchen operations, uphold the highest culinary standards, and cultivate a collaborative, high-performing team culture. This position requires hands-on leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering consistently exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire, coach, and mentor kitchen staff, supporting growth through structured training and real-time feedback
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to lead daily kitchen operations and long-term team development, including hiring and onboarding
  • Maintain strong oversight of food and labor costs, inventory management, and operational reporting to align with business goals
  • Monitor all culinary processes and procedures to ensure top-tier food quality, consistency, and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Lead line checks, manage prep execution, and expedite during service to guarantee smooth operations and timely service
  • Support documentation of key insights, prep standards, and shift updates to ensure communication clarity across all levels of the team
  • Step into a leadership role in the Executive Chef’s absence, ensuring kitchen continuity and alignment on culinary goals
  • Champion high standards of hospitality and professionalism in a constantly evolving environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale or fine dining environment
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, cost controls, inventory systems, and team leadership
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and inventory platforms (such as Foodager or comparable systems)
  • Advanced culinary training and technical skill, with an eye for detail and a high standard of execution
  • Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and capable of making sound decisions independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Culinary degree preferred but not required
