We are looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager focused on building relationships with architects and designers. The goal is to establish and maintain partnerships that lead to new project opportunities and help position our firm as a preferred contractor for their clients.
This role requires a self-starter who can proactively network, solicit opportunities, and manage the bidding process on residential renovation projects.
Key responsibilities include:
• Identifying and developing relationships with architects and interior designers in NYC
• Presenting our firm’s capabilities and expertise to secure invitations to bid on their projects
• Managing bid submissions and following up to ensure we are well-positioned to win work
• Building a network of repeat referral partners
Ideal candidates should have:
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Familiarity with the residential construction industry
• Ability to understand project scopes, review drawings, and prepare or coordinate competitive bids
• Motivation to work independently and develop new business opportunities
