Job Summary: Sales Trader - Clean Energy Tax Credits

We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Sales Trader to join our dynamic and fast-growing team in New York City, with a focus on the emerging and lucrative market of transferable clean energy tax credits. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in building and managing your own portfolio of clients while facilitating complex over-the-counter transactions in the renewable fuel and clean energy credit space. You'll be supported by a highly experienced team and receive in-depth, hands-on training in market dynamics, legislation under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022, and transactional frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and grow your own B2B client portfolio through cold calling, networking, and market research.

Manage the end-to-end transaction lifecycle, from origination to closing deals involving transferable clean energy tax credits.

Monitor market trends and pricing related to clean energy incentives, providing timely insights to clients.

Maintain ongoing communication with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.

Act as an intermediary in over-the-counter markets, facilitating customized and high-value transactions.

Stay informed on the Inflation Reduction Act, particularly around legislative developments related to clean energy credits.

Achieve and exceed personal revenue (P&L) targets through strategic deal-making and client engagement.

Promote the company's brokerage and advisory services to increase market share in the renewable energy space.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

1-3 years of experience in B2B sales, brokerage, trading, or a client-facing commercial role.

Direct exposure to clean energy tax credits and understanding of their transferability under the IRA 2022.

Strong commercial instincts with a proven track record of closing high-value deals.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Highly ambitious, confident, and results-oriented, with a strong drive to succeed in a high-performance culture.

Must be able to work full-time on-site in New York, NY.

Preferred Skills:
