Operations & Compliance
- Oversee daily NEMT operations to ensure timely, safe, and reliable transportation services
- Ensure full compliance with DMV, DOT, Medicaid, and state/local transportation regulations
- Handle all DMV-related matters including vehicle registration, inspections, renewals, and documentation
- Maintain up-to-date company licenses, permits, and insurance requirements
- Prepare for and assist with audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
Driver Management
- Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise drivers
- Ensure drivers maintain valid licenses, certifications, medical cards, and background checks
- Monitor driver performance, attendance, conduct, and safety compliance
- Address driver issues, incidents, and disciplinary actions when necessary
- Schedule drivers efficiently to meet trip demand
Payroll & Administration
- Manage driver payroll, including hours, mileage, bonuses, and deductions
- Review timesheets and ensure accurate payroll processing
- Maintain employee records and operational documentation
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and cost control
Fleet Management
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Ensure vehicles meet NEMT safety and accessibility standards
- Coordinate with mechanics and vendors for servicing
- Monitor fuel usage and vehicle condition
Client & Partner Relations
- Communicate with hospitals, clinics, insurance brokers, and Medicaid transportation coordinators
- Address client concerns, complaints, and service requests professionally
- Maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure contract compliance
Reporting & Improvement
- Prepare operational reports, incident reports, and performance summaries
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement process enhancements
- Support company growth through improved efficiency, compliance, and service quality
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in NEMT, transportation, or logistics management
- Strong understanding of DMV, DOT, and Medicaid transportation regulations
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with scheduling, payroll, and basic office software
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Female candidates preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, clients, medical facilities, and regulatory agencies
