Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30-4pm

Pay: $90k- $110k

Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven and experienced HR Generalist or HR Manager to join our high-performing manufacturing team dedicated to producing mission-critical precision components for the aerospace, defense, and medical industries. This role will serve as a key point of contact for all HR-related matters, ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of core human resource functions within a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in HR operations—particularly in recruitment coordination, new hire onboarding, vendor management, and employment law compliance—along with exceptional communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset. While not required, candidates with the ability to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives will be highly valued and considered for the HR Manager track. This individual will collaborate closely with department heads and senior leadership to support workforce planning, ensure consistent application of HR standards, and contribute to a culture that prioritizes accountability, operational excellence, and employee engagement. The position requires comfort operating independently while navigating the nuances of a custom, contract manufacturing business where agility and precision are paramount.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate new hire orientations and onboarding processes.

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment support, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.

• Serve as a liaison with third-party vendors and external staffing agencies.

• Maintain compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies. Revised 2020

• Utilize Paylocity and MS Office Suite to manage HR records, reports, and workflows.

• Foster employee engagement and assist with employee relations and issue resolution.

• Support and recommend updates to HR policies and procedures (strategic-level responsibility preferred but not required).

• Maintain up-to-date HR documentation and ensure consistent HR best practices across departments.

• Collaborate with operations and leadership to support hiring initiatives and workforce planning goals.

Job Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 4+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.

• Proficiency in Paylocity and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a proactive mindset.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• Experience writing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

• Prior exposure to high-precision manufacturing, aerospace, or defense industry environments.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk and hear.

• The job may involve prolonged periods of sitting and standing.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May involve prolonged periods of magnified inspection (eye strain).

• Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.

• The employee is frequently required to use the computer.

• May involve the use of oils and solvents.

• Subject to some soilage and irritation from cleaning solutions. (Lab Coats provided)

• Generally, work in a clean environment and works to maintain the environment as such.

• Safety Glasses are required and may require area specific safety training

• This position works in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

• May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the production process.
