What You'll Do

Financial Leadership: Oversee financial reporting and accounting operations for the Community Division.

Property Accounting: Manage financials, handle month-end closes, and ensure compliance with GAAP.

Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of property accountants, ensuring best practices and efficiency.

Process Improvement: Optimize accounting workflows, enhance system use (Yardi & QuickBooks Online), and streamline financial operations.

Treasury & Compliance: Oversee cash flow, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with New York State regulations, including sales tax.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with property managers and leadership to align financial strategies with operational goals.
What You Bring

5+ years of experience in property accounting or real estate finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

CPA or CMA preferred, but not required.

Proficiency in Yardi and QuickBooks Online.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to balance high-level leadership with hands-on accounting responsibilities.
