Location: Onsite in Manhattan
Salary: $65,000–$90,000 (Based on experience and skillset)

Your Role: What You'll Do

As a Business Officer, you will:

  • Drive the lending process: Coordinate among front-line teams, credit departments, and loan operations through all underwriting stages

  • Build and maintain client relationships: Deliver responsive and professional service to Chinese-speaking clients

  • Analyze financials: Review tax returns, rent rolls, personal/corporate financial statements to assess loan eligibility

  • Evaluate CRE & small business lending: Work with a range of products (C&I, LOC, FI evaluations)

  • Draft credit proposals & reports: Translate complex financials into clear, actionable insights

  • Prepare reports: Deliver weekly/monthly updates to senior management

  • Support closings: Coordinate with attorneys and staff for smooth loan execution

  • Provide administrative support: Take meeting notes, prepare correspondence, and manage files

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance/Accounting preferred); MBA or MS a plus

  • 3+ years' experience in commercial lending, business banking, or financial analysis

  • Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese AND English – written and spoken

  • Strong knowledge of CRE loans, C&I lending, and financial evaluations

  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint proficiency

  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Confident communicator, able to write reports in both Chinese and English
