The Infrastructure Engineer / Cloud Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's cloud infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of cloud-based systems, as well as providing technical support and guidance to other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and monitor day-to-day IT cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Design and Implementation: Assist in the design and implementation of cloud systems and platforms in accordance with company security guidelines and best practices.
Security and Compliance: Ensure the integrity and security of cloud infrastructures by monitoring access, usage, and resources, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
System Backups and Recovery: Perform system backups and recovery to ensure data integrity and availability.
Troubleshooting: Install, configure, and troubleshoot cloud services and applications, and analyze system logs to identify and resolve issues.
Resource Optimization: Ensure efficient utilization of cloud resources, including CPU, memory, and storage.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT security and other teams to define and implement cloud strategy, architecture, and services.
Training and Support: Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives and provide technical support for cloud applications and services.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in cloud administration, including managing and optimizing cloud resources.
Skills: Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Oracle Cloud Certified Architect are highly desirable.

The compensation range posted for this position represents the anticipated minimum and maximum compensation for this position based upon a good faith and reasonable estimate. The exact compensation offered will depend on several factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, training, education and/or physical location; internal equity; and, budget.
