Personal Lines Insurance Representative – Insurance
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: On-site, Monday to Friday
Compensation: $50,000 – $65,000 base salary + generous commissions for business development
Benefits: Please note that health insurance is not currently offered for this role
A respected retail insurance brokerage is seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Representative to join its growing team. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in a stable, supportive, and small-office environment.
The role focuses on servicing a book of primarily homeowners insurance policies (approximately 90% of the book), while also offering opportunities to grow through business development and earn commissions.
Key Responsibilities:

Service and manage a personal lines book of business, with a strong emphasis on homeowners policies

Market and quote new and renewal policies using online carrier systems

Provide excellent customer service, respond to client inquiries, and process policy changes

Identify opportunities for cross-selling and new business development

Work closely with a small, collaborative team in an on-site office setting
Qualifications:

Valid Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)

Experience servicing personal lines policies, especially homeowners insurance

Proficiency with carrier platforms and online quoting tools

Strong communication and organizational skills

Comfortable working in an in-office environment, Monday through Friday
