Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient administrative support. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they feel welcomed and directed appropriately.
• Answer incoming calls through a multi-line phone system and transfer calls to the correct departments.
• Manage the delivery and sorting of incoming mail and packages.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and attention to detail.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling and document preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients and managers regarding deadlines and job-related matters.
• Operate a switchboard system and maintain smooth workflow for incoming and outgoing communications.
• Support additional projects and tasks as assigned by management.
• Ensure the reception area remains tidy and organized at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to improve office operations and efficiency.• Minimum of one year of office service experience, preferably in a legal, banking, or corporate environment.
• Previous experience as a receptionist, switchboard operator, or administrative assistant is highly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and transferring calls efficiently.
• Ability to manage and prioritize mail sorting and delivery tasks.
• Experience in working with sensitive and confidential documents.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
