This role supports a Medical/Surgical Stroke Stepdown unit caring for adult patients with acute neurological and complex medical conditions.

Number of Beds: 64
Patient Population: Adults
Common Diagnoses:
Stroke
Altered mental status
Renal / Dialysis
COPD, CHF
Pneumonia & pulmonary conditions
Isolation patients
General medical-surgical cases
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of recent MS Stroke Stepdown experience
Documented travel experience required
Certifications Required:
AHA BLS
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Active NY RN License required
