About the role
The Operational Analytics Manager will be the point-person for operational analytics at LifeMD, supporting our care center, clinical teams, LifeMD pharmacy, and our pharmacy partners by developing actionable insights and strategies to enhance performance and streamline processes. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to identify operational gaps, ensure data-driven decision-making, and improve outcomes for patients and the business.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Insights and Process-Auditing
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and quality assurance reporting for the care center, including patient engagement and resolution tracking
- Partner with clinical teams to optimize scheduling, staffing models, and resource allocation
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows across the business, including clinical and care center operations
- Proactively monitor operational performance, flag opportunities, and develop new dashboards and reporting resources to drive improvement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for operational analytics across the organization, and work closely with leadership and other analytics directors to align priorities and initiatives
Pharmacy and fulfillment
- Collaborate with internal teams and pharmacy partners to monitor and improve medication fulfillment processes
- Provide insights into patient benefits, insurance outcomes, and coverage trends to inform business strategies
- Develop reporting and analytics to track performance against SLAs and enhance patient satisfaction with pharmacy services
Data Ingestion and Manipulation
- Write code and design ingestion strategies to fetch data from source systems and prepare it for analysis, as needed
- Design, build, and document data pipelines to lay the groundwork for consistent reporting and enable ad-hoc analyses
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience as an Operational Analytics Manager, Data Analyst, or Data Scientist
- 2+ years of experience a role combining operations, analytics, and process improvement within the healthcare field
- Experience designing dashboards and reports using visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Expertise in SQL and either Python or R
- Background in performance measurement, quality assurance, and operational gap analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to technical and non-technical audiences
