Director of Payroll

A SNF group is seeking a Payroll Director. The Payroll Director will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll by the payroll team. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing home payroll and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the payroll operations of a large nursing home group.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Manage payroll team and ensure that all payroll deadlines are met.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement payroll strategies and processes.
- Analyze data and provide reports on payroll operations performance.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure that payroll is running smoothly.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of payroll experience with a minimum of 1-year experience in the nursing home industry.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a direct people supervisory/managerial role
- Experienced and has an understanding of PBJ, schedules, HR, garnishments, child support, open enrollments, etc.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
- Proficiency with payroll software and other related programs.
- Ability to develop and implement payroll strategies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
