Job Summary:TheCSE Services Manageroversees the daily functions of our school age program for students with special needs, ages 5-21. TheCSE Services Managerwillensure all program cases are staffed, Individualized Education Plan's (IEP) are reviewed, and services are being provided in accordance with the student's IEP.The CSE Services Manager will also provide 10 hours of Special Education Services per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assign cases to providers considering the family's schedule, dominate language, therapist location and other relevant factors
  • Documentation of all Case activity and paperwork within online databasesEntering initial case informationRunning reports of case activityAnalyzing gaps in students' service
  • Provide10 hours of Special Education Services per week
  • Communicate regularly and provide ongoing support to Teachers and Providers
  • Conduct new provider Welcome Orientations
  • Conduct outreach to referral sources
  • Maintain and exceed budgeted hours
  • Conduct initial, annual, and final audits per case
  • Collaborate with billing to ensure make-up sessions are being provided
  • Provide ongoing billing and service provision training
  • Ensure services are provided in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Plan
  • Serve as a liaison to the school districts, as needed
  • Follow up with Providers and review all progress and annual reports

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Individuals must hold valid NY State Teaching certification, eitherStudent with disabilities All Grades, Students with Disabilities Birth - 2 or Permanent Special Education to ensure clinical competence.
  • Successful experience working in a high-volume work environment where organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Qualifications and other requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Must have Strong interpersonal communication-verbal and written
  • Takes initiative and can make decisions independently
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to interact with a broad spectrum of people.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with excellent work ethic.

Physical Requirements of the Role:

  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned work events including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
  • Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

Compensation:Full-time exempt $65,000 Annual

Hours: In office, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm
