THIS IS AN ON SITE POSITION ON LONG ISLAND. WE ARE NOT SEEKING REMOTE APPLICANTS AT THIS TIME.
Compensation:
$60,000 - $70,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Make certain of loan compliance for all state and federal regulations, as well as mortgage lending/ investor product and program guidelines and policies
- Complete the preparation and transfer of lender funds for disbursement
- Prepare, collect documentation, review and close loan packages or loan files
- Collaborate with loan processor and loan officer or funder from origination to close to ensure loan closing
- Settle any post closing issues immediately
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience of previous real estate mortgage loan processing, lending, or closing experience is preferred, experience with banking, credit unions, or financial services funding is suitable
- Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations from origination to post-closing; as well as an understanding of loan products such as Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA are desired
- MS Office experience required, lending or title software, NMLS experience is preferred
- Advanced time management, organization, and analysis skills are needed
