Job Description

Must be based within a 30 minute commuting distance of the designated market of New York, NY.

Availability: Candidates must be available for duration of timeframe
Timeframe: July 1, 2025-December 31, 2025

The Enthuse team is looking for a full-time temporary high-energy, outgoing ambassador to be the face of Vita Coco Coconut water at bars, restaurants, and select events in New York City. The goal will be to build brand awareness, engage with consumers, and foster strong relationships with venue staff to increase the presence and sales of Vita Coco products within these spaces and build advocacy among bartenders, restaurant owners, and hospitality workers.

This full-time temporary role is ideal for beverage professionals who have an established reputation or network within the region. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently across a variety of tasks. Someone who is tech-savvy, a great communicator, passionate about cocktail culture and hospitality, and embodies the Vita Coco brand.

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Generate visibility and advocacy for Vita Coco in the on-premise channel
  • Plan, execute, and represent Vita Coco consumer sampling events
  • Be an advocate for the Vita Coco brand
  • Build relationships with key accounts throughout the region
  • Lead cocktail R&D sessions and provide recommendations based on expertise
  • Conduct brand training with consumers and customers
  • Create and complete special projects as needed
  • Reporting – market insights, event recaps, ROI
  • Adhere to ethical and professional requirements at all times

What Success Looks Like:

  • Monitoring and achieving KPI’s, including activities and commercial growth
  • Deliver clear, strategic updates that recap and showcase ROI
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers collaborating on events and promotions that reflect Vita Coco's brand
  • Grow brand presence. Ensuring Vita Coco products are prominently featured on menus and in displays within establishments
  • Conducting training sessions to equip staff and consumers on unique selling points including benefits, brand story, and versatility with beverage applications
  • Gathering market insights and feedback from both consumers and venue staff regarding product reception, preferences, and any areas for improvement
  • Maintaining consistency in brand messaging, presentation, and promotional materials to ensure a cohesive brand experience
  • Active engagement on social media
  • Positive 360º feedback from manager, agency, and clients

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Previous experience in a brand ambassador, sales, or customer service role, preferably in the beverage or hospitality industry. A plus if you have previous experience representing spirit brands in a field-based or ambassador role
  • Enthusiasm for Vita Coco’s products, coupled with a desire for ongoing learning and development opportunities
  • Strong understanding and experience in cocktail culture and/or hospitality industry operations
  • A can-do attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends required
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to tailor communications for a variety of on-premise environments
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to engage a variety of consumers
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and effectively manage one's own schedule
  • Skilled in budgeting with the ability to effectively track expenses and report on budget performance
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Experience using social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter
  • Manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards



Additional Information

The base compensation for this job classification is $50,000.00 for the temporary assignment. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service, brand program, and geographic location.
