Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including bank and account reconciliations.
2. Preparing and analyzing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
3. Preparing and recording journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
4. Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all financial data is accurate.
5. Assisting with audits, working closely with auditors to ensure all financial information is presented accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards.
6. Assisting with cash management and forecasting cash flow.
7. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
8. Conduct detailed variance analysis between actuals and budget, and provide clear explanations for variances.
9. Working on special projects as needed, providing financial insights and recommendations.
To be considered for the Senior Accountant position, you must have:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or MBA is strongly preferred.
2. Prior Audit Experience. Big 4 a plus, but not necessary
3. At least 1 full year as Corporate Senior Accountant
4. Experience with ERP systems. NetSuite is a plus
